Brick Vase Clap Cup Jug, Exhibition guest curated by Glenn Barkley for AGNSW.

It’s an honour for me that my sculpture, ‘Mound seen from Merlin’s Lookout, Hill End. (from the lookout! series) has been acquired by the Art Gallery of NSW. Thanks, in a large part, to the Vicki Grimer bequest, recently acquired contemporary Australian ceramic artworks feature

in the current exhibition: ‘brick vase clay cup jug.’ Curator, artist and writer Glenn Barkley has keyed the words of the title into the AGNSW collection data base and unearthed a remarkable array of still life paintings and photographs depicting ceramic objects, graphic representations of ceramic processes in figurative drawings and prints and historical ceramics from the collection. These are recontextualised with experimental, conceptual and expressive works of contemorary ceramic art. For details of the works in this exhibition: agnsw.art/brick
